The 2024 Winter Event is a seasonal event that will run from 2nd December 2024 to 3rd January 2025.
Is that the jingle of Santa's bells I hear? Its time to hang up your stocking and decorate the tree - the Winter Event is here with all its prizes and festive cheer!
Our Quest Givers, Ami and Isabella, once again need your help to decorate Mistletown for the festive season. Help them out, listen to Ami's stories and have fun unwrapping gifts and winning some magical prizes!

Wooden Bells

The player will need Wooden Bells to illuminate houses - 10 Wooden Bells for 1 house.

Additional Wooden Bells can be collected without using diamonds in the following ways:

• The Show 2 Tile gives the player 3 Wooden Bells.
• Some Presents award Wooden Bells, 14 Wooden Bells.
• The Shuffle Tile gives the player 10 Wooden Bells.
• The Calendar Kit Tile gives the player 10 Wooden Bells and a Master Key Piece if found more than once in a day.
• Some Incidents in and around your city, will give between 10 Wooden Bells & 20 Wooden Bells (more on a very rare occasion).

Additional Wooden Bells can be bought using diamonds:

Presents/Event Window

To access the house window, click the Winter Event Button at the left side of the screen of your browser (pictured here) or at the right side in the app. The player uses Wooden Bells to illuminate houses and claim what is hidden inside. The player can illuminate as many houses as they can afford, and win everything over and over again.

As you can see in the following interactive image, the event window contains 7 main elements:

Rewards remain the same until midnight server time or until the "Shuffle" is found in a present. All houses will illuminate but not be awarded at midnight server time.

Every time you illuminate a house, a snowfall will start on your town and surrounding area. The effect is quite spectacular, but will not be displayed if Animations under Settings is turned off.

There are also special awards hidden among the presents, which are as follows:

Show 2	Double Payout	Shuffle All	Calendar Kit

• "Show 2" reveals two random houses on the board and gives the player 3 Wooden Bells.
• "Double Payout" doubles the reward in the next present to be opened.
• "Shuffle All" resets all the presents. When "Shuffle All" appears, the player needs to press "Start" again and in addition claim 10 new Wooden Bells.
• "Calendar Kit" This will give a Calendar Key when first found on a day. Then a Master Key Piece and 10 Wooden Bells for additional finds.

Winter Memories

This is a special deal offered during the Winter Event. Each collected Memory will allow the player to add an item to this deal while the price remains unchanged. Collect Memories by finding the Show Two, Double Payout, and Shuffle. Collect 9 Memories to get the most items for your diamonds.

• The Winter Memories Window can be accessed by selecting the Winter Memories in the Winter Event Window. For each collected Memory, you will have the opportunity to choose one of two gifts to add to a bonus gift pile which you can then unlock with diamonds. Or if you just can't choose, you can pay the diamond cost to add both of them, or even switch the gift options available to choose from!

• Once the first Winter Memory is found and a gift choosed, the Diamond purchase button will become available. The offer can be accepted at any time during the event and with any number of collected rewards for the fixed price - the maximum number of offered items however is 9x2 if you use diamonds to choose both items each time. Memories are not collectable when all the slots are full.

• After accepting the deal, the collected gifts will reset and you can start collecting new Memories for the next deal.

• You are not able to reject any reward once it is revealed in your Winter memories Collection and No item will be offered twice per deal as it seems.

Questline

There are 38 Main Quests available which can be completed as soon as possible.

Ami

After completing the Main Quests, 32 quests, corresponding to each day of the Winter Event, will be presented daily. Depending on the number of days the player takes to complete the main quests, that number of quests will stack when the daily ones start. Lets say it takes 5 days to finish the main questline. After completing that, the player will then immediately receive 5 quests without any delay and after that, one quest per day.

Note: Where the word "some" appears in the quest text below, the amount differs depending on the Age the player is at. The Lower Numbers in brackets are for BA. The second number in brackets is for the SAT.

Show/Hide General Calendar Mechanics

One of this years Presents is a Calendar Kit.

• The first time on each day you find this Present you get a Calendar Key, which opens that days Advent box.
• Find it again during the day and you will get Master Key Piece and 10 Wooden Bells.
• If found after a Double Payout, you will get a Calendar Key and a Master Key Piece and 10 Wooden Bells if it is the first time you find it on the day. Or 2 Master Key Pieces and 20 Wooden Bells if found again.
• Once ALL boxes are opened finding a Calendar Kit will reward you with 10 Wooden Bells (or 20 Wooden Bells after a Double Payout)
  

Collect 5 Master Key Pieces and you can open a previous days box that you could not find a key for.

• Master Key Pieces may be purchased for 100 Diamonds each, if less then 5 pieces are owned.
  
• Additionally, for the duration of the event, one of the two treasure chests offered for Daily Challenges will always be a "Winter Event Challenge" chest. This chest contains either 10 Wooden Bells (82%), 30 Wooden Bells (9%) or 50 Wooden Bells (9%).
  If acquired daily, this averages to 15.4 extra Wooden Bells Daily, for a total of 477.4 Wooden Bells with 31 "Winter Event Challenge" chests

The rewards will become available after opening this kit. The player's League depends on the total number of points gained during the event. All the players with the lowest 50% distance score join the Hobby league. The Amateur League is reached by the top 50%, the Bronze League by the top 20%, the Silver League by the top 5% and the Gold League by the top 1%.
