Information

The Clockmaker is the final production building unlocked in the Colonial Age. Although the production of supplies per square generally increases as you move along the research tree, the Clockmaker gives you less per square than a Tobacco Plantations, making it worse. However, Clockmakers require much less space and population than Tobacco Plantations, so if you are running low on population or want to do many recurring production quests in the Colonial Age, Clockmakers are a lot better.
