The Commando is the Light Unit from the Postmodern Era.
It has the highest attack value in the era, along with Universal Tanks, moderate to low defense, moderate to high movement and low range.
The strong aspects of this unit are the bonuses. It has 40 extra attack and defense points when facing Universal Tanks and Rocket Artillerys, 25 attack and defense points when placed in entrenchments and 50 extra defense points in forests, with hiding skill included. Finally, they also possess Close Quarters; so, as long as it attacks from an adjacent field, it will have 50 extra attack points.
The Commandos are highly terrain dependent in order for them to be effective. If the scenario is wooded, they can hide, wait for the opponent to get close quarters, force them to a retaliation of 130 attack points or take advantage of entrenchments, they prove to be effective, specially against Universal Tanks and Rocket Artillery.
