El Hacha Gonzalez a ruler of the Industrial Age and owns the following provinces: Nevarrone, Santa Catalina, Dorango and El Fuego, which are based on Mexico.
El Hacha is the brutal leader of a bandit army south of the main map. He behaves aggressively towards the player, who he sees as an intruder, and regularly organises raids on the player's villages. After a final assault, in which the people are reported to "suffer badly“, he is presumably killed.
Gonzalez resembles the real-life Mexican bandit and general Pancho Villa, and his nickname translates to "the hatchet" for his violent nature.
