Goods Buildings are buildings that produce Goods goods, one of the main resources of the game. For most players the goods buildings are the main source of goods. Currently there are 96 different types of goods buildings in the game.

Goods Goods are needed for researching technologies, building Great Buildings, and for maintenance in the Guild vs. Guild warfare. Goods Goods can also be used to negotiate provinces, Guild Expeditions, Daily Challenges or the Merchant and can be traded with other players.

Mechanics[]

Goods Buildings have similar mechanics to those of production buildings. There are four different production rates, 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours (1 day), and 48 hours (2 days), allowing different amounts of goods to be produced.

To reach the full production potential the player should acquire a corresponding good deposit for a good building. Without the deposit the amount of goods produced is five times smaller.

The player has to manually assign the production for each building by spending Coins coins and Supplies supplies. From the Modern Era to the Virtual Future some unrefined goods are needed also. Unrefined goods are goods from an earlier age (always 3 ages back). For example Colonial Age goods for Modern Era Goods Buildings. Some Great Buildings produce current era goods up till the Modern Era. They will start to produce unrefined goods from Modern Era onwards.

In the Space Ages, starting with Space Age Mars, the whole concept of producing goods works quite differently than from earlier ages. To begin with, the player has to build the Goods Buildings on their Space Colony (not in the main city on Earth). That means one needs Colonists Colonists instead of Population Population and Mars Ore Mars Ore or Asteroid Ice Asteroid Ice instead of unrefined goods. Moreover, the cost for producing goods also depends on the amount of Life Support Life Support, the Space equvialent of Happiness Happiness. Having a high amount of Life Support Life Support means that the player will receive a discount in the cost of goods production on the Space Age Colonies. The actual discount received varies, but it is always discounts in Coins coins and Supplies supplies costs.

When starting Space Age Asteroid Belt independence is granted to the Mars Colony. Thereby another way is needed to be able to produce the Space Age Mars goods, including Mars Ore Mars Ore in later eras. Therefore Space Age Asteroid Belt ads the capability to produce theGoods goods of Space Age Mars in their respective synthesizer that can be built in the main city on Earth. The production cost consists of Coins coins, Supplies supplies and Medals medals.
