The House of Horrors is a special residential building given as a reward during the 2020 Halloween Event.

The House of Horrors provides population, negative happiness and produces coins in 24 hours. The building can be motivated and can be plundered if not motivated. When motivated, it produces additional resources like goods and forge points depending on the buildings level. The coin production is doubled upon motivation and is affected by the town's happiness and by boosts of certain Great Buildings.

On the highest level, the player may select one of three options. Also, when animations are turned on, a unique inhabitant will roam the city when the building is one of these options:

  • House of the Wolf: additional Attack Boost for Attacking Army attack boost and Wolf inhabitant Inhabitant Wolf
  • House of the Clown: additional Goods 10 goods and Clown inhabitant Inhabitant Clown
  • House of the Demon: additional Forge 2 Forge points and Demon inhabitant Inhabitant Demon


Upgrade[]

House of Horrors Upgrade Kit

The House of Horrors can be upgraded by House of Horrors Upgrade Kit item. To upgrade the House of Horrors, use the House of Horrors Upgrade item on the House of Horrors that is already situated in your city. Its upgraded version will then be placed directly on the same spot in your city and the production timer will not be reset. Note that the upgraded building will be from your current era, even if the old one was from one of the earlier ages.
