Trivia[]
The Iron Age is the third and final prehistoric time period, with the others being the Stone and Bronze Ages. This era began when iron tools eventually replaced bronze tools at around 1200 BC, and ended with the Roman conquest of Europe around the 1st century BC.
We can imagine that this Age gets us to the Republic (509 BC-27 BC) and the conquest of Italy and Spain. Around 1200 BC, most civilizations collapsed because iron weapons were stronger than bronze weapons. This made war easier. Some civilizations that used these weapons were a danger for bronze civilizations.
Phoenicians traveled around Europe and gave many civilizations their alphabet. Greece was one of these, and they added vowels. Greeks also develop a great civilization, which is the base of European culture. They develop Art and Science. Around 500 BC, Persians conquered Greece and Greeks fought for their freedom in the 3 medieval wars. The Greeks won the war.
At the same time Greeks developed their civilization, Romans built their empire. Romans use Greek knowledge supplicated to Forge their empire. Originally, Rome was a Kingdom, but in the year 509 BC, they killed their King. Since this year, Rome would be a Democracy, but in the 1st century BC, Rome started to be an Empire.
