The Paratrooper is the ranged unit of the Modern Era.

To train this unit, a Paratrooper Camp is needed.

Having both moderate attack and defence, moderately high speed and short range.

Gains attack bonus from entrenchments and rocks, defence bonus from bush and forests and has ability stealth. It is effective both light unit, i.e. Bazooka Team and artillery unit, i.e. Mechanized Artillery, but vulnerable to both fast units and heavy units. Paratroopers are predeced by the Sniper.

Having a special ability Rapid Deployment, starts the battle in a random field on the map and acts before any other units.
