Quantum Incursions (QI) is a feature which was introduced on the 1st February 2024 (beta server), and released on 21st March 2024 (live servers). It is a cross-platform cooperative feature where you work together with guildmates through a number of encounters over maps of progressively increasing difficulty to gain personal rewards and guild power, and to compete against other guilds in six seasons spanning over the course of a championship.

There are two different areas to this feature. First is the player's Settlement, which needs to be developed from the ground up every season. It serves to produce variety of resources to further build up the settlement, as well as to produce units or goods to be used in encounters. Second is the Quantum Incursions map, where the guild participates on solving various encounters, in which guilds compete in a 6 season long Championship, each season lasting for 11 days with a 3 day break, to get as many Progress points in Node encounters over up to 10 difficulties. Each solved encounter provides Progress points towards capturing a Node, which can yield a personal reward. These increase the higher difficulty guild can conquer. At the end of Championship, depending on a position in Rankings, an entire guild is rewarded with a set of rewards.

QShardsBig

Quantum shards are a premium currency usable only in the Quantum realm. Similar to Diamonds Diamonds, these can be used in a variety of ways, such as instantly finishing a production or construction, purchasing premium expansions, removing impediments in Quantum Settlement or purchasing QActionPoints Action points. QShards Quantum Shards can be obtained from participating in Nodes on Quantum map, as milestone rewards in Quantum pass, or purchased directly with Diamonds diamonds.

QShards Quantum Shards accumulated over the season carry over to the following one(s). At the end of championship they reset back to the starting value.

  • QShards 100 Quantum Shards = Diamonds 120 Diamonds (1.2 diamonds per 1 Shard)
  • QShards 250 Quantum Shards = Diamonds 280 Diamonds (1.12 diamonds per 1 Shard)
  • QShards 1,000 Quantum Shards = Diamonds 1,050 Diamonds (1.05 diamonds per 1 Shard)


Quantum Settlement[]

This is the place where each player develops their own outpost to generate resources needed to participate in solving encounters. The settlement does not carry over to the next season, each season it needs to be built from the ground up.

At the beginning, each player begins with QCoins 150,000 Quantum Coins, QSupplies 25,000 Quantum Supplies, QShards 500 Quantum Shards (beginning of Championship), 20 of each QGoods Quantum Goods, 8x QArtillery Artillery, 8x QFast Fast, 8x QLight Light, 8x QHeavy Heavy and 8x QRanged Ranged units.

Each player can pick three out of five goods and military buildings. The choice is permanent for the duration of a season and cannot be changed. Additionally, an information about how many guild members have picked each option is provided under each option.

Euphoria[]

Similar to Happiness Happiness in main city, the Quantum Settlement uses a mechanic where a combination of Population Residential Buildings and Cultural Building Cultural Buildings sets a mood which determines a multiplier for productions of QCoins Quantum Coins and QSupplies Quantum Supplies. Town Hall production is unaffected by Euphoria.

Expansions & Impediments[]

Purchase expansions with either QGoods Quantum goods or QShards Quantum Shards. The cost increases for each expansion purchased. The increase operates independently for goods and shards. IE: Purchasing two expansions with shards does not increase the cost of another expansion purchased with goods. There are 11 expansions available with goods purchases and 18 expansions available using QShards Quantum shards. Additionally up to Removal Tool 15 Impediments can be removed using QShards Quantum Shards.

Incursion Selection

At the beginning of each season, guild's Quantum officer needs to select which Quantum Incursion the guild will partake in. Maps differ only in the rewards available from Node encounters. Each map has 2 specific reward buildings. Once an Incursion has been selected, players entering the Quantum Portal will be transferred onto the first difficulty.

Action Points
Action Points

Quantum Actions (points) are required to perform various actions on the Quantum Map - to move between Nodes, to add contributions and to start battles on each Node. Up to 100,000 Action Points can be stored. By default these regenerate at a rate of 5,000 Action Points per hour. This can be further increased by building Population Residential Buildings in Quantum Settlement, or by directly purchasing them using QShards Quantum Shards. Additionally, there is a chance to win some Quantum Actions by completing Node encounters.

  • QActionPoints 8,000 Action Points = QShards 50 Quantum Shards (160 Action points per 1 Shard)
  • QActionPoints 45,000 Action Points = QShards 225 Quantum Shards (200 Action points per 1 Shard)
  • QActionPoints 100,000 Action Points = QShards 450 Quantum Shards (222.22 Action points per 1 Shard)

The cost of QShards Quantum Shards increases with additional purchases and resets at the start of next season.


Nodes[]

Nodes are steps through the map that feature a variety of tasks to be completed to complete the map and move on to the next level. Some nodes require fights and some require donations of goods, troops or other resources like coins, supplies and Quantum Actions. Fighting nodes are coloured either red or blue. This colour designation simply means that on a red node the player will need a red boost (fighting boost for attacking army) and on a blue node the player will need a blue boost (fighting boost for defending army).

It costs QActionPoints 100 Quantum Actions to move between adjacent nodes and QActionPoints 3,500 Quantum Actions to participate in that node. In return every completed action earns the player 10 progress points.

Summary[]

  • All guild members that researched the technology Chain of Command (Iron Age) will be able to participate
  • Guild member(s) with Quantum Officer rank must select which Quantum Incursion to participate in at the beginning and choose a path on Intersection Nodes
  • New Quantum Incursion season starts every 14 days and runs for 11 days with a 3 day break, Quantum Championship lasts for 6 seasons

Incursion Rewards[]

Quantum Reward

Based on the overall progress made by the entire Guild in a season, each player is then eligible to open reward chests. Depending on their Progress points contributed over the season they can open up to 2 free chests when reaching 200 and 1,000 Progress points. Further up to additional 4 chests can be purchased using QShards Quantum Shards (1st for QShards 300, 2nd for QShards 400, 3rd for QShards 500 and 4th for QShards 800). An option to purchase all remaining unopened chests for a discounted -25% price is also offered. The rewards offered depend on the reached milestone. When opening all 6 available chests an Epic QI Selection Kit is gifted as an extra reward.
