The Stone Age is the first age in the game. The player only briefly remains in this age before moving on to the Bronze Age. There is only one technology and it is already researched when the player begins the game.

It is impossible to play the game in the Stone Age, as the tutorial brings the player into the Bronze Age. Also, this is the only age to not have Goods, Military, Cultural, or Great Buildings to be built.

Trivia[]

The Stone Age is the first of three prehistoric time periods, with the others being the Bronze and Iron Ages. This era started with the introduction of stone tools about 2.6 million years ago and ended with the discovery of metallurgy at around 6500 BC. This era is considered the dawn of human civilization.
