The Governor's Villa is a special residential building given as a reward during the 2020 Summer Event.

The Governor's Villa produces coins in 24 hours and gives happiness. Additionally, at levels 5, 7 and 9 it gains an attack boost bonus, and it produces forge points starting at lvl 6.

The coin production is affected by the town's happiness and by boosts of certain Great Buildings, and it gains additional boosts after being upgraded. If motivated, the coin production is doubled and depending on the building's level, it additionally produces goods and military units of the building's age. The building can be plundered if not motivated. Forge points are produced even if not motivated.

The Governor's Villa may also produce military units that usually are not available to the player. For example, an Early Middle Age Governor's Villa can produce Barbarians and Barbarian Slingers, and an Industrial Age Governor's Villa can produce Brave Warriors and Mounted Braves.

When upgraded to Viceroy's Villa, the existing properties are enhanced and further gains Attack boost for defending army attack and Defense Boost for Defending Army defense boosts for defending army.

Upgrade[]

Governor's Villa Upgrade Kit

The Governor's Villa can be upgraded by Governor's Villa Upgrade Kit item. To upgrade the Governor's Villa, use the Governor's Villa Upgrade item on the Governor's Villa that is already situated in your city. Its upgraded version will then be placed directly on the same spot in your city and the production timer will not be reset. Note that the upgraded building will be from your current era, even if the old one was from one of the earlier ages.

Viceroy's Villa Upgrade

A unique upgrade to this building is the Viceroy's Villa Upgrade Kit, which allows the building to be upgraded from level 9 to Viceroy's Villa. Regular Upgrade Kit cannot do this. A total of Fragment 150 Fragments are required to assemble the Upgrade Kit.
