The Terracotta Vineyard provides population, happiness and produces coins in 24 hours. Depending on the building's level, additional resources like medals, Forge Points and goods are added to the production. The coin production is affected by the town's happiness and by boosts of certain Great Buildings and can be doubled by motivation of the building. Additionally it gives a supply boost from level 5 upwards.
Neither the vineyard nor the fields need to be motivated/polished to get the resources of the fields attached to the vineyard.
The amount of fields that can be added to the vineyard is only limited by the player's city size and availability of fields. The additional fields have to be correctly aligned and can be attached only to the front of the vineyard.
Risk of Plunder
As the Terracotta Vineyard does not produce special resources upon motivation, it has a low priority in the motivation order and will only get motivated randomly with the regular buildings after all special buildings that produce forge points, goods, guild power, medals, or blueprints have been motivated. Use a Self-Aid Kit if you want to make sure your Terracotta Vineyard (including the production of attached fields) is protected from plunderers if you cannot collect on time and you have regular plunderers coming along.
The 'city shield', in the tavern Shop of the friends tavern can also be used to protect from the risk of plunder.
Upgrade
The Terracotta Vineyard can be upgraded by Terracotta Vineyard Upgrade Kit item. To upgrade the Terracotta Vineyard, use the Terracotta Vineyard Upgrade item on the Terracotta Vineyard that is already situated in your city. Its upgraded version will then be placed directly on the same spot in your city and the production timer will not be reset. Note that the upgraded building will be from your current era, even if the old one was from one of the earlier ages.
