Unlike its predecessor, Strike Team, it does not poss the Stealth ability, but it posses all special abilities of Rapid Deployment and Contact!.

It is the slowest unit of the Tomorrow Era, also it has lower defense than Artillery unit from the same-age, but it has little higher attack than Assault Tank (CE Heavy Unit) and the shortest attack range of all unit from Tomorrow Era which has same range as Stealth Tank (TE Heavy Unit). These units bonuses vs heavy and artillery units, attack bonus when on broken grounds, defense bonus when in entrenchments and bonus when standing at rubbles. They are vulnerable to both fast and ranged units.
The currently available units that can attack an Ultra AP without retaliation are artillery units, ranged units from the Industrial Age to forward, light units with Dragon Breath ability, fast units from the Progressive Era to forward (except Drone Swarm and Warrior Monk), heavy units from the Progressive Era to forward (except Stealth Tank and C.R.A.B. Mech), Champions from the Progressive Era to forward, Conscripts, Strike Teams, Exoskeleton Soldiers and Mantas.
