This week, we are honouring the contributions of none other than , who has been with our team since September 2017, and an administrator since February 2018.
Let's have a look at what he does on the wiki. Mainly, he is responsible for overseeing the Quests sphere - numerically the largest area on the wiki, comprising more than half of the total number of articles. He has in game cities at different ages, and while progressing in the game, he meticulously documents each and every quest encountered - be it story, side or recurring. In addition to this, he is also invested in the upkeep of the provinces pages, by filling in information, narratives, sector armies etc.

Honouring Nike Aisling
Today we honour the contributions of Nike Aisling, also known as Harleen, to the Forge of Empires Wiki. She joined us as a Content Moderator in the middle of August 2017, and as a testament to her prowess, rose to the position of Administrator within just a month. Although she was with us for a relatively shorter time, barely six months, her impact on the wiki and its processes cannot be overstated.
I recall Harleen being very very technically sound - at least with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Primarily, her contributions can be seen till date in the beautification and visual design aspects. Honouring Auctorius
We're kick starting our Honouring the Trailblazers series with Auctorius, who wasn't the founder in the strictest of definitions, but by all other definitions has been the pioneer of the Forge of Empires Wiki.
Auctorius, or Tomasonym as he was then known, adopted the wiki on the 14th of May, 2014. Now, for those who don't know, adoption is a process by which users who are particularly active on a wiki can get admin and bureaucrat rights on it if there's no one else and the wiki is dead. Before him, the wiki was a "barren wasteland with anyone doing what they pleased". For reference, below I present a snapshot of how the mainpage used to look circa 2013.

Forge of Empires Wiki celebrates its tenth anniversary on the 5th of December, 2021. It is hard to imagine that ten whole years have passed since our wiki's founder, , created this wiki on Fandom, or Wikia, as it was then called.
Ten Years! An entire decade. Its hard to imagine what a phenomenally long period of time this is. Indeed, ten years ago Forge of Empires was a fledgling game by a relatively unknown company. Actually, fun fact, the wiki began in December 2011, while the Open Beta game itself released in April 2012. In a way, we are older than the topic we are based on. Overhauling the FoE Wiki
Here, I'll be talking about how 2019's been for the Forge of Empires Wiki (from my perspective).
The first quarter of 2019 recorded an abysmal activity rate from my side. Indeed, one contribution in 3 months, and that too being a simple reply to a post on my message wall. My work is partly to blame for this, as I got a backlog of cases which I had to deal with. Coupling this with the fact that I was studying for my Bachelor's degree and that I did not find time to play the game makes it a perfect recipe for inactivity. I returned on 5 April to make amends for my previous inactivity and fulfill my duties as Main Admin.
