Victor Bonneparte

Victor Bonneparte is a ruler in the Colonial Age, being the last to be introduced. He is the emperor of Haulenois.

Description[]

Bonneparte is a revolutionary from the kingdom of Louis XXI, roi de Varseilles and Sophie Antoinette. After the player acquires Varseilles, Bonneparte would overthrow Louis and Sophie, sending them into exile and becoming the first French emperor.

Bonneparte deeply dislikes nobles and is a gifted military leader. Unlike the monarchs, he is very popular with his people. However, after the player infiltrates his lands and undermines his popularity, Bonneparte loses his support and is defeated. Like the monarchs, he is sent into exile on a distant island.

Description[]

Bonneparte is based on Napoleon Bonaparte, the emperor of France who came into power after the revolution that killed Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. Like Bonneparte, Napoleon was sent into exile after being defeated in Prussia and abdicating his position as emperor. He's also partly based on Maximilien Robespierre, the French revolutionary who executed Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.
